Centrair Pegase GLC

The Centrair Pegase is a single-seat high-performance glider used by the Dublin Gliding Club for its solo pilots. The glider is manufactured out of fibreglass making it extremely light and strong. The Pegase was produced mainly for soaring and cross country flights making it the ideal choice for pilots wanting to achieve long duration flights. The Centrair Pegase is a glider that is based off of the Schleicher ASW20 glider but has an improved wing design giving it better performance to the German ASW20. The Centrair Pegase was built by Centrair in France between 1990 and the early 2000s. It is a very nice aircraft to fly due to its flexible wing structure giving it very smooth and docile flight characteristics. The Pegase has a wing span of 15m (49ft 3in) and a height of 1.38m (4ft 6in). it has a top speed of 250 km/h and a glide ratio of 42:1 making the glider very desirable throughout the club.
